I am ready for spring, blooming flowers, and warm temperatures. I enjoy spending time outside listening to birds chirping. I purchased a hammock chair three or four years ago, and I have loved every minute of it. I began searching for another for a while because I was going to put it in a living quarters we are building. We are making a home theater / family get together room out of a shed. I saw Sonyabecca hammock chair and was interested in the product.
My older hammock chair was pure fabric and was closer to an actual hammock. This is the reason I was wanting a different one for the building. The Sonyabecca chair fit the look and feel I was searching for.
I pre-ordered the macramé chair. When it arrived, I immediately opened the box. The quality of the knitted cotton was impressive; especially, the overall design of the hammock. It looks much better in person than the stock photos the company provides. There’s no words to exactly describe how I enjoy it.
The weight limit is 265 pounds. This seems to be a good top weight. However, I personally would not go over 250 to be safe. I am 230 pounds, and I had no second thoughts about sitting in the hammock chair. I did not feel like it was going to break or snap.
I was surprised to how comfortable it sits. It felt a stiff when I first felt it, and I feared it was not going to sit well. However, I was wrong. I enjoyed swinging in the chair. Your preference may be different so keep that in mind. If you are looking for a softer chair, then this may not be for you.
To set up the hammock chair, you will need to purchase a stand or an Eye-hook and a S-hook. At my local hardware shop, the hooks cost a couple of dollars. The hammock does NOT come with them. Although, where you put the S-hook, there is a metal ring attached to the chair. You can set it up two different ways: One using one set of hooks or using two sets, giving it more of a swinging effect. I use mine by keeping both metal rings together, using one S-hook and Eye-hook
