Leather craft tool set by SIMPZIA does a very nice job at constructing a great package together to begin sewing and designing patterns on leather. When you receive the package in the mail, the box comes wrapped in a sleeve that gives various information about the product. After officially opening the box, the tools are packed in.
All the equipment is great quality.
The tools are sharp, and most have a protective covering or bag over the blades. I would be careful using them. There was one tool, skiving knife, that was interesting. It has a Japanese or Chinese symbols on the blade. The kit comes with nine different sewing needles. These could be used for other other uses as well.
As an added bonus, the kit comes with three sewing thread: brown, black, and tan. The thread should last you a little while. However, I recommend getting extra if you are you going to be using it.
All of the tools are well-made and should last awhile. They give you a finger tips, which look and feel like the company cut the tips off of a glove. I personally would not use them, but they can be used for some protecting against the blades. There are 11 blades for the leather skiving tool, 6 blades for the craft knife, and 2 blades for the rotary cutter. These should last a while with average use.
The kit is supposed to come with 5 leather edge grinding polish tools, but ours only had one. If you are expecting five, then you should receive the five. However, I am not going to complain about the one little defect in the product because our overall experience was well received.
I can easily recommend this kit for anyone, especially those just getting started in leather sewing. The company has another kit with fewer pieces if that's what you are looking for, as well as, one with more tools.
